These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website arkonsystems.com ("Site") and the engraving order submission services provided by Arkon Systems, operated by sole proprietor Tyler Skoglund ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Site

This Site is provided as a convenience to assist event attendees in submitting engraving orders for items provided at nonprofit events. This Site is not offered as a commercial service, and no fees are charged for use of the Site.

2. SMS Messaging Terms

• If you choose to provide your phone number and check the consent box, you agree to receive SMS text message updates related exclusively to your engraving order.
• Message frequency: 1–4 messages per order
• Message and data rates may apply
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP
• SMS messages are delivered through Twilio and are not used for marketing.

3. Order Submission

By submitting an engraving order, you confirm that:

• You provide accurate and complete information
• The engraving text you submit is appropriate and not offensive
• You understand that order processing depends on event timing and availability

We reserve the right to reject engraving text deemed inappropriate.

4. Materials and Services

We supply the materials used for engraving. All engraving is done on-site at the event using equipment operated by Arkon Systems. You acknowledge that engraving quality may vary depending on material characteristics.

5. Data Handling

All order information is stored only for the duration of the event and deleted after fulfillment. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arkon Systems and its owner are not liable for:

• Accidental damage to engraved items
• Minor cosmetic imperfections inherent to the engraving process
• Delays caused by event conditions
• Loss of data due to technical issues

Your sole remedy for any issue is limited to requesting re-engraving or replacement of the provided item when possible.

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the engraving event takes place (or where Arkon Systems operates if unspecified).
